I am a freelance artist working out of Art and Soul Tattoo studio, Kettering Northamptonshire. i work mainly in oil painting but am also in process of learning to tattoo with the intention of offering this service as soon as possible. i have done shows in the past in and around Northampton but have taken time out from this to develop my style and explore new areas within my art. displayed on this portfolio are a selection of pieces from 2011 onwards, i will update as soon as i finish the pieces i am working on.
My work is dark, erotic, horror. i am aiming for a touch of realism but without losing the raw nature of painting. i am more interested in capturing a feeling or an emotion than i am in recreating a perfect photo, after all, thats what cameras are for.
i take influence from anyone and everyone, anything that impresses me. my biggest influences are the traditional "greats" of oil painting, Rembrandt, Goya, Titian, etc.
